Having been fortunate enough to live most of my life in the south of England, running a successful commercial and social photography studio in Midhurst for 35 years, and recently been commissioned by The South Downs National Park Authority to capture landscapes within the park for various projects, (which is the most recent to be founded, covers over 1600km2, and stretches from the ancient city of Winchester in the west through to Lewes in the east), I felt it would be of interest to amateur photographers to join me for 1 day or residential courses, not only involving taking the image, but learning how to print and present it.
The South Downs Way passes close to Midhurst, and we are surrounded by ancient woodland. Petworth House is six miles away and is the home to herds of deer who roam the 700 acre parkland designed by Capability Brown.
